You make your day!
If you want to live your life to the fullest, you need to make your days great. If your days are great, there is a good chance that your life will also be great.
Fortunately, improving your days doesn’t have to be complicated. You don’t need to do something big for that. Instead, you just need to do some simple things. Doing these simple things can have a profound impact on your days.
Here are two ways to improve your days:
1. Make simple rules.
This comes from this book. The idea is that you should have some simple rules to live by throughout your day.
The key word here is simple. Don’t make it complicated. Don’t make something that’s difficult to remember. Instead, make a rule that’s simple and easy to remember. Why? Because you are more likely to follow it that way.
Here are some examples:
Stop working at 6 pm.
Don’t check emails first thing in the morning.
Use the time before sleeping for reading.
These rules are simple, aren’t they? But applying them could improve your days.
Of course, you shouldn’t start with too many rules. In fact, I suggest you to start with just one rule. Think about the one rule that would make the most difference in your life, and start with it.
2. Build mini habits.
This comes from this book. The idea is that to build a new habit, you should start small. The author even stated that if it seems ridiculously small, then it’s good.
The goal here is to get you started. Why? Because getting started is often the most difficult part of building a new habit. Many people try to start big and fail because they get overwhelmed.
So start small. Start with something you can easily do. With that small beginning, you can build momentum. You will be able to do bigger things over time.
Here are some examples of mini habits:
Reading one page every day.
Doing five push-ups in the morning.
Writing 50 words a day.
You can easily do these things. With these, you can start building momentum.
***
Improve your days by making simple rules and building mini habits. If you do them, you will be on your way to living your life to the fullest.
Red eyes
I check into small hotel a few kilometers from Kiev. It is late. I am tired. I tell woman at desk I want a room. She tells me room number and give key. “But one more thing comrade; there is one room without number and always lock. Don’t even peek in there.” I take key and go to room to sleep. Night comes and I hear trickling of water. It comes from the room across. I cannot sleep so I open door. It is coming from room with no number. I pound on door. No response. I look in keyhole. I see nothing except red. Water still trickling. I go down to front desk to complain. “By the way who is in that room?” She look at me and begin to tell story. There was woman in there. Murdered by her husband. Skin all white, except her eyes, which were red.

Archery
Archery is a sport that dates back years and years before the modern day version that we have today with all sorts of high-tech equipment and different techniques of shooting and competing with other archers. To give you an idea of just how old archery really is, in approx. 2800 BC, the first composite bow was produced by the Egyptians. It was made from wood, tipped with animal horn and held together with animal sinew and glue. Unstrung, it resembled a "C" shape and would have required 2 people to string it. The bowstring was made from "catgut" (sheep intestines). The arrows used were extremely light, could be shot 400 yards using the composite bow and would easily penetrate the armor of that time period. The Egyptians used archers on the back of light chariots who were highly trained and skilled and could easily outflank an enemy army with devastating effect.
Back in the day of the Roman Empire, they owed much of their military superiority to their skilled archers. In Europe the bow and arrow were displaced by firearms as a military weapon in the 16th century. By the time the Spanish Armada attempted to invade England in 1588, an English county troop levy consisted of one-third bowmen to two-thirds soldiers with guns, and by century's end the bow had been almost abandoned as a weapon. Nevertheless, peoples of the Far East employed archers in warfare as recently as the 19th century, and the use of the bow and arrow in hunting and intertribal fighting continues in central Africa and South America up to the present day.
The bow was retained as a hunting weapon, and archery continued to be practiced as a sport in England by both royalty and the general public. The earliest English archery societies dated from the 16th and 17th centuries. The oldest continuously held archery tournament still extant, known as the Ancient Scorton Arrow, was founded in Yorkshire in 1673; and about 1790 the Royal Toxophilite (Greek toxon, "bow"; philos, "loving") Society was formed to advance the sport. The Prince of Wales, afterward George IV, became the patron of this Society and set the prince's lengths of 100 yards (91 m), 80 yards (73 m), and 60 yards (55 m); these distances are still used in the British men's championship York Round (six dozen, four dozen, and two dozen arrows shot at each of the three distances).
Although archery has definitely changed since the people of the Bible first used it, without it history might have turned out much differently. Bows and arrows saved many people's lives, and even do today. As a means of hunting animals for food, as a defensive or conquering weapon, or as an instrument in competition, the bow and arrow has impacted the world. Physically, the structure of archery has developed, the circumstances for which archers use their bow and arrow has changed drastically, and the way in which warfare utilized archery has nearly come to an end. Archery has etched and will continue to etch an imprint on the world's mind--even if only in history, legends, and stories.

Feelings
Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived: Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all of the others, including Love. One day it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink, so all constructed boats and left. Except for Love.
Love was the only one who stayed. Love wanted to hold out until the last possible moment.
When the island had almost sunk, Love decided to ask for help.
Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat. Love said,
“Richness, can you take me with you?”
Richness answered, “No, I can’t. There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat. There is no place here for you.”
Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel. “Vanity, please help me!”
“I can’t help you, Love. You are all wet and might damage my boat,” Vanity answered.
Sadness was close by so Love asked, “Sadness, let me go with you.”
“Oh . . . Love, I am so sad that I need to be by myself!”
Happiness passed by Love, too, but she was so happy that she did not even hear when Love called her.
Suddenly, there was a voice, “Come, Love, I will take you.” It was an elder. So blessed and overjoyed, Love even forgot to ask the elder where they were going. When they arrived at dry land, the elder went her own way. Realizing how much was owed the elder,
Love asked Knowledge, another elder, “Who Helped me?”
“It was Time,” Knowledge answered.
“Time?” asked Love. “But why did Time help me?”
Knowledge smiled with deep wisdom and answered, “Because only Time is capable of understanding how valuable Love is.”

Sekolah Dato' Abdul Razak
Encik R.A.

Bandar Baru Bangi
The City Of Knowledge.
The first reason to build up Bandar Baru Bangi is to have a good city with a discipline and smart people. Towards to a better future, you'll need a good foundation. Which mean a good young generation.
So,in order to make this dream to become a reality, lots of schools and institution had been built since late 80-s. One of the primary school there is where i studied,Sekolah Kebangsaan Bandar Baru Bangi Jalan 2.
What is special about this school?
It the only school that have been authorised to use Bandar Baru Bangi in representing the school name. Even there are several primary schools in Bandar Baru Bangi such as Sekolah Jalan Empat,Sekolah Jalan Tiga and many more.
What is i like about Bandar Baru Bangi (BBB)?
The landscape. The city developer have a well thought on the structure of the street plus the trees and the landscape are compliment to the road. The best part is there are lot of big shady trees that makes BBB cool and chill.
The people. They are so full of manners, never press the horn on the street. Nevertheless, they practice the give and take attitude on road, when in business and in helping outsiders to know more about BBB.
The facilities. There a lot of petrol pump, masjid, clinics, workshop and restaurant you can find in Bandar Baru Bangi. Hence,it have night market on every Wednesday and Saturday.
But what makes me sad is the beauty of Bandar Baru Bangi are fading each day.
It is because the outsiders that move into this city and bring their worse attitude and messy lifestyle which change the appearance of peace BBB.
And surely I'm as the old residents wanted to have once again a peaceful city with good people to live together. I'm surely miss my childhood in BBB.
There are lots of my memory pave on the road of Bandar Baru Bangi.
So that's it .Assalamualaikum
